Now a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit, located in Wan Touzhen in the urban area. Built during the Qing Dynasty and reconstructed in the 28th year of the Guangxu reign (1901). Stone embankments on both sides still remain, stretching 200 meters in length, constructed from bluestone blocks joined together using silver-ingot-shaped iron tenons. Brick archways were built on the east and west banks of the sluice, with stone plaques above the archways inscribed respectively with “Ancient Zhuyu Bay” by Ruan Yuan and “Protecting Life and Prosperity.” The sluice area features an old street that largely retains its original appearance. On the south bank of the sluice lies what is said to be the horse-tying stone of Lai Wenguang, the Duke of Obedience from the Taiping Rebellion. It can be combined with a tour route to Zhuyu Bay Park.
