The main gate of the Salt Transport Commissioner's Office is a Yangzhou municipal cultural relics protection unit.

The main gate of the Salt Transport Commissioner's Office

Now a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit, it is located on Guoqing North Road in the city center. It was originally the main gate of the Lianghuai Duizhuan Salt Transport Commissioner’s Office. Facing east with its back to the west, it features a flush-gable roof covered with tubular tiles. The structure is three bays wide and five purlins deep, with octagonal screen walls on both sides and a pair of well-preserved stone lions at the entrance. Renovated in 2001, it now serves as the western entrance attraction of the Dongquamen Historical and Cultural Block.
