Zhenyuan Garden is a Yangzhou municipal-level cultural relics protection unit.

Zhenyuan Garden

Now a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit, it is located on Wenchang Middle Road in the city center. Originally known as "Xingshan Nunnery," it was transformed into a garden in the early years of the Republic of China. In the southeast corner of the garden stands a small waterside pavilion, beside which there is a lake rock rockery with a winding cave in the middle, a winding path on top, and a surrounding pool at the foot. To the west, there is a latticed window corridor that turns north and then west to a square pavilion, with a garden gate connecting to the east corridor. The original building in the north of the garden has been demolished and renovated.
