The Former Residence of the Ma Family

It is now a municipal-level cultural heritage site, located at No. 10 Diguan, in the urban area. It is a late Qing Dynasty residential building, originally owned by the Ma family, and later transferred to Hong Lanyou, a member of the Central Committee of the Kuomintang and Secretary-General of the National Assembly. The residence faces south and has five surviving sections in the western part. The first section is the main hall, built in a flush-gable roof style, spanning five bays in width and seven rafters in depth, with fir wood beams and columns, featuring roll-and-pitch awnings at both the front and rear, with corridors on both sides. The latter four sections are all five bays wide. To the east is a flower hall. The total area covers approximately 1,600 square meters.
