The Zhao Family Garden is a Yangzhou municipal-level cultural relics protection unit.

The Zhao Family Garden

It is now a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit, located in Zanhua Palace in the city center. Originally the residence of cloth merchant Zhao Haishan, it faces south and consists of a residential area in the east and a garden in the west, covering an area of approximately 2,000 square meters. The eastern part has three successive halls, while the western garden includes three study rooms to the south and two successive flower halls to the north. A half pavilion is built against the eastern wall, and the front flower hall is three bays wide and seven rafters deep, with a ceiling inside and a rolled shed in front. There are still scattered rocks remaining in the garden. Apart from some partial renovations, the entire structure is relatively well-preserved.
