The Yang Family Residence is now a municipal-level cultural heritage site, located at No. 30 Caiyi Street in the city center. It was originally the main gate of the residence of Yang Zimu, the Salt Transport Commissioner for Guangdong during the late Qing Dynasty. Facing south, the gate is built with polished bricks. The gatehouse features carved meander patterns, with a hollowed-out brick relief of a narrative scene in the shape of a crabapple blossom in the center.
