Currently a municipal-level cultural heritage conservation unit, located at No. 62 Xincang Lane, Xincang Lane Community, Dongguan Subdistrict, Guangling District. It was once the residence of a salt merchant surnamed Zhu during the Qing Dynasty. The house covers a land area of 559 square meters with a built-up area of 422.78 square meters. Its main gate faces south and features a simple eight-character brick-carved gate tower. Connected to the gatehouse, the complex has four courtyards in a row, all with flush gable roofs. The first courtyard faces north, is nine point three meters wide with three bays, and three point six meters deep with five rafters. The second courtyard serves as the main hall, also nine point three meters wide with three bays, but seven point one meters deep with seven rafters. It is surrounded on three sides—front and both sides—by covered corridors. The ceremonial gate is a finely mortared brick gate tower. To its east, there used to be a brick-carved shrine for blessings, the upper part of which had a small-brick arched tile eave, the middle featured a diamond pattern, and the lower depicted stylized phoenix motifs. Behind the hall, there is a waist gate connecting to the rear two courtyards, each consisting of three rooms with two side chambers. The third and fourth courtyards are similar in size, each having three rooms with two side chambers, nine point three meters wide with three bays and six point one meters deep with seven rafters. To the east of the residence lies a fire lane, along with an octagonal gate that connects to a garden and a flower hall to the east of the lane, as well as annex rooms. The last courtyard and the eastern side chamber of the residence are still used as living quarters by descendants of the Zhu family, while the rest serve as publicly owned housing with residential usage rights.

Xincang Lane Community: Located in the southeastern part of Yangzhou. Its southern boundary is Nantong East Road; its western boundary follows Dujian Road and Dujian South Road; its northern limit reaches Guangling Road; and it borders Hexiang Community along a line including Dawucheng Lane, Dingjiawan, and Jushilane. The community covers an area of 0.3 square kilometers, with a total of 3,298 households and a population of 8,340.
