The former site of Xie Fuchun is a cultural heritage site protected by Yangzhou City.

Dating back to the Qing Dynasty, it covers an area of over 7,000 square meters with a built-up area of 413 square meters. The western part consists of two residential sections: one with three courtyards front and back, and a small quadrangle courtyard; the eastern part has one flower hall with three bays in width and seven rafters in depth, topped with a flush gable roof. It was founded by Xie Hongye during the Daoguang period of the Qing Dynasty, producing scented powder, hair oil, incense sticks, and scented ornaments, which were sold all over China and throughout Southeast Asia. It became especially famous for its scented ornaments, and even won a silver medal at the Panama–Pacific International Exposition in 1915. In 1956, it was transformed into a public-private partnership, and the Xie Fuchun Scented Powder Shop was renamed Xie Fuchun Scented Powder Factory; in 1966, it was renamed Xie Fuchun Daily Chemical Factory, the name it still carries today.
