The central axis houses a study and a living room; the living room is three bays wide and five rafters deep, with some latticed windows still in place. The west axis has two connected sections, both three bays wide and seven rafters deep, featuring a front courtyard with side rooms. It was once the home of Wu Entang, one of the “Three Eccentric Scholars of Yangzhou” during the Guangxu reign of the Qing Dynasty.
