No. 102-1, Yinshi Street, Ancient Well is a Yangzhou Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Dating back to the Qing Dynasty, the well’s curb is made of bluish-gray stone, drum-shaped, relatively large in size, with an inner diameter of 53 cm and outer diameter of 78 cm at the top, a belly diameter of 90 cm, and a height of 53 cm. The inner wall has rope grooves. The outer belly wall is carved with four sets of patterns including a qilin, the Dragon King of the Sea, and swimming birds. The rim and the decorative band in the style of a brocade wrap are carved with ruyi patterns, scrolling floral designs, and supplementary motifs. The well wall is built with bluish bricks in a circular pattern, and the well is 5.8 meters deep. The water is clear and the well is still in use by local residents today.
