The Yu Family Shop on Andun Lane is a cultural relic protection unit of Yangzhou City.

Yu Family Shop on Andun Lane

Built during the Republic of China period, the structure features two sections, front and back, with two floors connected by a winding corridor. It faces west along the street and covers a construction area of 537.46 square meters. The eastern section is four bays wide, with the ground floor used as a shop and the upper floor as living quarters; the western section is also four bays wide, with the southern two bays having small-tiled roofs and firewalls on both sides. The courtyard is covered with a wooden roof, while the north side features a second-floor veranda with a waist gate leading to the northern two bays’ courtyard. The northern two bays have small-tiled roofs and a flush gable roof, with a wing room on the north side of the courtyard. Originally a fabric shop opened by the Yu family, it later served as a branch of Zhongbai No.1 Store after the liberation and is now residential housing.
