Salt Administration Audit Office

The Salt Administration Audit Office is a cultural heritage site protected by the Yangzhou Municipal Government.

Salt Administration Audit Office

Located at No. 33 Huaihai Road, it was established in the late Qing Dynasty and early Republican period, and functioned as a government guesthouse (Dawangbian Guesthouse) after the liberation, receiving national leaders including Liu Shaoqi, former President of China, and Chen Yi, Minister of Foreign Affairs. One Western-style building still stands, largely intact. It is currently managed by the Yangzhou Planning Bureau.
