China (Danyang) Eyewear City

China (Danyang) Eyewear City is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

China (Danyang) Eyewear City is located between the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and the Shanghai-Nanjing Intercity Railway, at the intersection of Zhongshan Road and Zhanqian Road, adjacent to Danyang Railway Station and Bus Station. The project covers a total area of 45,314 square meters, with a total construction area of 110,919 square meters, and an overall investment of approximately 500 million RMB. The overall planning layout of China Eyewear City Building consists of a trading area and supporting business hotel. The trading area spans about 60,000 square meters, primarily focused on eyewear sales and wholesale, while the business hotel on the south side covers around 20,000 square meters. It not only meets the supporting functions such as business offices and tourism reception for the eyewear city but also serves as a landmark building in the area, showcasing the city’s identity. The Danyang Eyewear City project has completely moved away from the traditional single-business model of eyewear markets and has evolved into an experiential commercial hub that integrates leisure, entertainment, dining, accommodation, business offices, and film performances. This model represents a city-leisure center, architecturally expressed through a commercial block format—open, transparent streetscapes, and an inviting inner water street that fosters a pleasant environment and vibrant commercial atmosphere. The future of Eyewear City is not just a commercial building, but also a future activity and experience center for the citizens of Danyang.
