Nancai Township Pollution-Free Vegetable Base

The Nancai Township Pollution-Free Vegetable Base in Sucheng District was established in June 2007, built with investment from Rijk Zwaan Vegetable Company and three farmer cooperatives. The base currently has over 2,000 acres of facility vegetables and seedling centers, as well as 3,000 steel-framed, multi-span steel-framed, and solar greenhouses. The park is equipped with offices, a technical training center, a logistics center, and various other supporting facilities. The base mainly produces more than 30 types of pollution-free fruits and vegetables, including strawberries, chili peppers, eggplants, cucumbers, watermelons, cherry tomatoes, tomatoes, and various edible fungi. It is most suitable for visiting in spring and winter, with special features such as on-site fruit and vegetable picking and trading, as well as technical exchanges. The base is open to the public year-round and admission is free.
