Qian Dayan

Qian Dayan is a cultural heritage site protected at the municipal level in Suqian City.

Qian Dayan, located in Guiyuan Neighborhood Committee, Economic Development Zone of the city, features a main hall that is a late Qing Dynasty building and is currently listed as a municipal cultural heritage site. After the liberation, Qian Dayan was converted into Qian’an Primary School, where over 20 nuns and monks were disbanded and sent back to their hometowns. In the 1990s, the primary school was relocated, and the temple was rebuilt. An annual fair is held here on the eighth day of the first lunar month.
