The White Dragon Temple is located on the southern slope of Zixia Peak, facing Dalin Temple across the ridge. It was first built during the Shaoxing era of the Song Dynasty. Legend has it that a woman named Xiang became pregnant after mistakenly eating a celestial peach, then died in shame, and her unborn child transformed into a white dragon. A temple was thus erected to enshrine and worship the White Dragon Goddess. In the fourth year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty (1878), the Jade Emperor Hall, Dongyue Hall, Ten Kings Hall, Goddess Hall, Official Reception Hall... were rebuilt.
