The Sui Dynasty Tomb in Tianshe Village is a protected cultural heritage site of Jiangsu Province.

The Sui Dynasty Tomb in Tianshe Village is located on the campus of the County Supply and Marketing Cadres Training School in Tianshe Village, Hutang Town, Wujin.

In November 1984, the tombs were discovered during construction at the school and were jointly excavated by the Changzhou Museum and Wujin Museum. The tombs face west and consist of two shell-like structures made of blue bricks, sharing the same design and arranged side by side in the same direction. The distance between the two tombs is 0.5 meters. The tombs have a horizontal layout resembling an inverted plate-mouth pot or bottle shape, and consist of a tomb door (including a sealed wall), a passage, and a burial chamber. The total length is nearly 5 meters, the burial chamber is 2.27 meters high, and the deepest point reaches 2.5 meters. The tomb door is plate-shaped, both taller and wider than the passage. The passage is narrow, situated between the door and the main chamber. The burial chamber is relatively spacious and oval-shaped. The tomb floor is paved with rectangular bricks in a herringbone pattern. The left, right, and rear walls of both burial chambers feature five straight-bar windows and niches each. The bricks used in the construction come in various shapes—rectangular, trapezoidal, and wedge-shaped—as well as in different sizes, with nearly 10 specifications in total. A small number of short sides of the bricks are inscribed with characters. No coffins remain in the burial chambers, only fragments of lacquer and a few remaining coffin nails. A total of 15 artifacts were unearthed, including celadon plate-mouth pots, celadon double-lipped jars, celadon bowls, cups, and bronze mirrors, along with a small number of coins. It is a provincially protected cultural heritage site.

It has a total population of 200,000, including 128,000 permanent residents.
