Fangshan General's Mound

The General's Mound Scenic Area is located in Tanmugang Village, Hebei Town, Fangshan District, Beijing. It is an ecological nature scenic area, covering a total area of 1,680 acres, including 370 acres of orchards, 230 acres of scenic forest, and a variety of fruit trees such as apricot, peach, apple, walnut, and persimmon. The herb garden features plants like white chrysanthemum, bupleurum, adenophora, wild ginger, forsythia, and platycodon. It is a national A-level scenic spot.

There are fruit tree forests featuring fresh apricots, peaches, walnuts, persimmons, pears, apples, Sichuan pepper, and jujubes, along with 230 acres of scenic forest. The area is also rich in wild mountain vegetables, and is frequented by flocks of pheasants and rabbits. In spring, flowers bloom in vibrant colors; in summer, the forest provides cool shade; and in autumn, the red leaves blaze like fire.
