An important event in China’s RV and camping industry in 2012 – the 4th Beijing International RV & Camping Exhibition 2012 will be held from March 22 to 25, 2012, at the Beijing RV Expo Center, CSD, Changyang, Fangshan District, Beijing.
The 4th Beijing International RV & Camping Exhibition is jointly organized by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development, the People's Government of Fangshan District, Beijing, and the China RV & Camping Alliance, and is hosted by the Management Committee of Beijing Fangshan Changyang CSD, the Beijing Fangshan District Bureau of Tourism, and the Beijing RV Expo Center. Beijing Campers RV Co., Ltd. is responsible for organizing and preparing all aspects of the 2012 Beijing RV & Camping Exhibition.
The theme of the 2012 Beijing International RV & Camping Exhibition is “Comprehensive · Leap · Progress.” This theme reflects the trend of China’s RV and camping industry advancing from its initial stage to a phase of rapid growth, as well as the goal of China’s tourism industry to develop in a diversified, large-scale, and professional direction.
This year marks the beginning of the 12th Five-Year Plan period, and also a year of rapid advancement for China’s RV and camping industry under favorable national policy and market conditions. With scientific development as the theme and commitment to a new path of industrialization, the strategy of “implementing adjustment, transformation, innovation, and upgrading,” with a focus on cultivating strategic emerging industries to achieve leapfrog development, is the development goal of China’s equipment manufacturing industry. Within the 12th Five-Year Plan, RV tourism and camping tourism have been included as one of the emerging tourism formats encouraged and supported by the state, laying a solid policy foundation for the development of China’s RV and camping industry. Significantly enhancing technical capabilities and public awareness, and making RV and camping tourism a preferred choice for mass leisure travel, is the direction in which China’s RV and camping industry is striving.
At this exhibition, visitors can fully imagine the exciting outdoor life of living in a home on wheels among hundreds of domestically produced and imported RVs of various prices and types, outdoor camping supplies such as tents, tables, chairs, and car refrigerators, as well as outdoor camping equipment such as ATVs and jet skis.
The 4th Beijing RV & Camping Exhibition lasts for four days. During the exhibition period, events such as the 2012 China RV & Camping Industry Development Forum and the China RV & Camping Site Brand Enterprise Award Ceremony will also be held. Leaders and senior executives from relevant domestic and international government departments, industry associations, RV manufacturers, RV dealers, camping site development and operation enterprises, outdoor product production and sales enterprises, water facilities and aviation facilities enterprises, investment institutions, high-end leisure associations, and luxury goods enterprises will attend the forum and award ceremony to discuss issues related to the development of China’s RV and camping industries, share advanced development and operational experiences, encourage industry growth, and promote inter-industry and cross-industry exchanges and cooperation.
The 2012 4th Beijing International RV & Camping Exhibition is the first domestic exhibition event themed around the two emerging travel formats of RVs and camping. It is a grand gathering of the RV and camping industry that brings together RV enthusiasts, RV fans, camping enthusiasts for communication and entertainment, as well as RV production and sales enterprises, camping supplies-related businesses, camping sites, scenic spots, and attraction displays, discussions, and collaborations.
After three previous editions, the Beijing RV & Camping Exhibition has now become the highest-level, most authoritative, and most widely influential international RV & camping brand exhibition held within China. It is recognized globally as the premier event in China’s RV & camping industry, and is hailed as the “No. 1 Exhibition of China’s RV & Camping Industry” and known as the “Barometer of the China RV & Camping Market.” Previous editions of the Beijing Exhibition have received high attention and active participation from well-known domestic and international RV manufacturers, parts suppliers, and peripheral product makers and sellers. The successful hosting of past exhibitions has promoted the comprehensive development of RV and parts manufacturing and sales, and has built an international and market-oriented platform for exchange and cooperation for enterprises, enjoying a high level of professionalism and authority in the industry. The 3rd Beijing RV & Camping Exhibition in 2011 received attention from leaders of central and local authorities, including the National Tourism Administration, China Tourism Association, Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development, China Tourism Vehicles and Ships Association, Shandong Provincial Tourism Bureau, and the Fangshan District Government, who attended and visited the exhibition. During the 3rd Beijing RV & Camping Exhibition in 2011, nearly 10,000 visitors attended, with over 300 RVs sold on-site, and the total transaction amount exceeding 100 million yuan. The scale far exceeded that of the second exhibition.
