The 2012 Fifth Beijing International RV & Camping Exhibition, held from August 9 to 12 at the Beijing RV Expo Center in Changyang CSD, Fangshan District, Beijing, concluded successfully on the afternoon of the 12th.
This exhibition was jointly organized by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development, the People's Government of Fangshan District, Beijing, and the China RV & Camping Alliance. It was hosted by the Changyang CSD Management Committee of Fangshan District, Beijing, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development of Fangshan District, and the Beijing RV Expo Center. The Beijing Campers RV Exhibition Co., Ltd. was responsible for organizing and preparing all aspects of the 2012 Beijing RV & Camping Show. It was co-organized by the China Tourism Association, the China Tourism Attractions Association, the China Tourism Vehicles and Ships Association, the Organizing Committee of the China RV & Camping Conference, the World RV & Camping Association, the American RV Industry Association, the European RV Industry Association, the Japanese RV Industry Association, the Australian RV Association, and the South African RV Association, with support from the Beijing Construction Group.
According to Wang Xudong, a representative of the 2012 Fifth Beijing International RV & Camping Exhibition organizing committee, this exhibition surpassed previous ones in both scale and quality. Statistics show that nearly 150 companies participated, with over 400 RVs on display. During the four-day exhibition, nearly 40,000 visitors attended, and nearly 400 media outlets were present for interviews and coverage. Over 300 RVs were sold on-site, with more than 700 follow-up orders. Approximately 10 aircraft and yachts were also sold, with total on-site transactions exceeding 300 million yuan.
Notably, the quality of exhibits at this exhibition far exceeded previous ones. Not only were new models such as the Great Wall RV unveiled for the first time, but luxury RVs, helicopters, and high-end off-road vehicles were also on display, covering all vehicle tiers.
The 2012 China RV & Camping Tourism Development Forum was grandly held during the exhibition. Representatives from the RV, camping industry, and related enterprises gathered to discuss cooperation and explore how the RV & camping industry and its related sectors can deeply and comprehensively collaborate for development. Encouraging progress was made in cooperation and communication, greatly promoting the development of China's RV & camping industry.
It is understood that by the end of the exhibition, over ten cooperation initiatives had been initiated among enterprises, including RV manufacturing, parts supply, sales partnerships, campsite construction, and promotional activities.
As the premier event in China's RV & camping industry, the 2012 Fifth Beijing International RV & Camping Exhibition once again surpassed previous editions, achieving unprecedented success and setting a new high for China's RV & camping industry gatherings. All participating enterprises achieved remarkable results and expressed their determination to build on this momentum and not miss the next exhibition.
