Jiangwan Sports Center is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

Jiangwan Sports Center, originally known as Shanghai Stadium or Jiangwan Stadium, was once hailed as the "No. 1 Stadium in the Far East." It is located at No. 245 Songhu Road, Yangpu District, Shanghai, China today.

The Chuangzhi Tiandi Jiangwan Sports Center (formerly Jiangwan Stadium), is a uniquely distinctive public activity platform within Chuangzhi Tiandi. After more than two years of restoration and renovation, Jiangwan Sports Center broke away from its single competitive function and opened to the public on December 30, 2007. The center integrates sports competitions, cultural and entertainment performances, fitness and leisure, as well as dining and entertainment, completely transforming the traditional lifestyle of urban residents.

It pioneers the concept of "one-stop wellness and fitness services" and becomes a creator of your new healthy lifestyle.

The Chuangzhi Tiandi Jiangwan Sports Center is located at No. 346 Guohe Road, Yangpu District. It stretches eastward from Guohe Road, faces Zheng Tong Road to the south, extends to Chuangzhi Tiandi Plaza on the west, and reaches Zhengli Road to the north. Adjacent to the bustling Wujiaochang commercial district—the central area of Yangpu District, Shanghai—it is also close to renowned universities such as Fudan University and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. As a municipal heritage building with over 70 years of history, the center covers a total area of approximately 27,000 square meters.

After being carefully restored to retain its original character, Jiangwan Sports Center has shed the dust of the past and radiated new vitality. The center boasts beautiful scenery and a pleasant environment, with various sports venues nestled within. The fully renovated Jiangwan Sports Center mainly consists of six major parts: the football stadium, comprehensive gymnasium, swimming pool, outdoor courts area, and a traditional Chinese courtyard, along with supporting facilities such as a large parking lot. The center will support the hosting of various professional sports events with its professional-grade facilities, and provide a diverse range of high-quality sports services including venue rentals, sports training, and community activities.

Structure

On the east and west sides of Jiangwan Sports Center are the command stands, constructed from artificial white jade, standing 20 meters tall, with an ancient bronze tripod placed atop each, presenting a magnificent sight.

Scale

Over the course of more than 70 years and numerous renovations and expansions, the stadium can now accommodate 40,000 spectators.
