In the second half of 2014, the professional outdoor brand Ozark will sponsor and promote Ray of Hope China’s expedition and youth camp public welfare projects, helping young people experience and appreciate the world we live in, explore nature, understand the true meaning of sustainable development, serve society, and unleash their own potential.
Through the “Ray of Hope Expedition” and “Ray of Hope Youth Camp” activities jointly launched by Ozark and Ray of Hope China, the aim is to encourage and inspire youths aged 14 to 24 to step out of their comfort zones. Under the guidance of professionals, they will undertake environmental protection, community building, and wilderness exploration projects in remote areas, reflecting on sustainable development between humans and nature through hands-on practice. With this collaboration, Ozark will leverage its years of extensive experience in the outdoor field to ensure the safety and active participation of young people in public welfare activities.
“A strong youth makes a strong nation, an independent youth makes an independent nation, and a progressive youth makes a progressive nation.” The youth are the future of a country and the world, and focusing on youth development is a globally shared understanding. Around the world, there are numerous youth public welfare organizations, big and small, and Ray of Hope is one of the outstanding representatives.
