The China Tobacco Museum is a patriotic education base.

The China Tobacco Museum is a national, professional museum and currently the world's largest specialized tobacco museum. It covers a site area of 5,511 square meters, with a total construction area of 9,617 square meters and an exhibition area of 3,500 square meters. As a national industrial tourism demonstration site and a Shanghai science education base, the museum is equipped with professional guides and bilingual (Chinese and English) audio guide systems, offers comprehensive barrier-free facilities, and has a multifunctional lecture hall that can accommodate over 150 people. The museum is currently open to the public free of charge.

The museum currently has eight exhibition halls open to the public: "The History of Tobacco," "Tobacco Management," "Tobacco Culture," "Tobacco Agriculture," "Tobacco Trade," "Tobacco Industry," "Smoking and Tobacco Control," and the "New Century Hall." Through a large number of precious cultural relics, documents, models, dioramas, lifelike wax figures, photos, and multimedia displays, the museum provides a comprehensive introduction to the origins of China's tobacco industry and the characteristics of its various developmental stages. Visitors can learn about the evolution of China's tobacco industry, agriculture, and trade, as well as patriotic historical materials showcasing the brave resistance of Chinese tobacco workers against domestic and foreign reactionary forces. The Tobacco Culture Hall displays various ethnic tobacco customs, smoking paraphernalia, cigarette labels, and illustrated materials.
