Yanchun Park

Yanchun Park is situated at No. 20 Yingkou Road, with Jingyu East Road to the north and Yingkou Road to the west. It was opened to the public in October 1987. ?? Shanghai’s Yanchun Park spans 1.29 hectares. The park is a supporting project for Yanji New Residential Area, using a hollow carved flower wall to blend the park view into the surrounding greenery, thereby intensifying the spring vibe of Yanji New Area. This is why its original name “Jingyu” was changed to “Yanchun.” Due to subway construction needs in 2003, part of the park was temporarily borrowed, and it reopened in December 2006 after renovation.

Yanchun Park was newly built in September 1987, covering a total area of 12,900 square meters. The park was constructed as a supporting facility for Yanji Residential Community and is currently managed by Yanji Subdistrict. It receives industry guidance from the District Greening Bureau. The park mainly serves residents for leisure purposes and includes a sizable public fitness area. The park was originally named “Jingyu” based on its location along the road, but was renamed “Yanchun,” which carries the meaning of extending spring.

Yanchun Park is located at the intersection of Yingkou Road and Jingyu East Road, at No. 20 Yingkou Road. It connects to the east with the Yanji Cultural Center and Yanji Subdistrict Hospital, borders Yingkou Road to the west, neighbors Yanji Third Residential Area to the south, and is bounded by Jingyu East Road to the north, where high-rise buildings stand on the other side of the road.
