Shanghai Hans Christian Andersen Fairy Tale Theme Park is located in the International Community of Xinjiangwan, Shanghai. It is the world’s first large-scale theme park named after the fairy tale writer “Hans Christian Andersen.” The park features seven themed areas inspired by Andersen’s fairy tales including “The Steadfast Tin Soldier,” “The Little Match Girl,” “Thumbelina,” “The Emperor’s New Clothes,” “The Little Mermaid,” “The Ugly Duckling,” and “The Wild Swans.” In addition to amusement rides such as the “Carousel” and “Odin’s Blessing,” the park also offers large climbing and slide facilities. Moreover, it has introduced an authentic Danish-designed Hans Christian Andersen Museum and a nationally approved science and low-carbon experience pavilion. A variety of spectacular performances and parades further enhance the enchanting experience.
