The Yangpu Public Security Exhibition Hall is a patriotic education base.

The Yangpu Public Security Exhibition Hall is located within the compound of the Yangpu Branch and covers an area of approximately 900 square meters. It consists of a main hall, a secondary hall, and the Exhibition Hall of Martyr Yan Dehai’s Advanced Deeds. The exhibition presents, through photos and physical objects, the achievements of the Yangpu Public Security in various tasks as well as the advanced collectives and heroic role models that have emerged in different periods. The main hall introduces ten thematic sections, including the caring attention and earnest expectations of leaders at all levels for the Yangpu Public Security, the historical evolution of the Yangpu Branch, its outstanding performance in combating crime and protecting the people, and touching moments of police officers upholding their purpose and serving the public wholeheartedly. The secondary hall showcases the investigation of a number of major cases with significant social impact, as well as the advanced deeds of citizens who performed acts of bravery. The Exhibition Hall of Martyr Yan Dehai’s Advanced Deeds highlights four life-and-death moments, moving stories, and outstanding achievements of Martyr Yan Dehai.

The exhibition hall was established in 2002. In 2004, it was named the “Shanghai Youth Legal Education Base” by the Shanghai Municipal Committee Political and Legal Affairs Commission, and the “Yangpu District Patriotic Education Base” by the Propaganda Department and Civilization Office of the Yangpu District Committee.
