The Exhibition on the Historical Materials of Yangpu Workers' Movement is a classic red tourism site and a patriotic education base.

Yangpu District is the birthplace of modern industry in China and the cradle of the growth of the Chinese working class. To commemorate those revolutionary years filled with fervor, the Hudong Workers’ Cultural Palace has set aside a dedicated space to create the "Historical Materials of Yangpu Workers' Movement" exhibition area, providing a venue for patriotic education for the general public. The exhibition includes 36 display panels, each measuring 75 centimeters in length and 50 centimeters in width, arranged along both sides of the corridor and interspersed with plants such as Aglaonema and pothos. The dark yellow-toned panels are paired with 120 carefully selected black-and-white photographs from a wealth of historical materials provided by the Hudong Workers’ Cultural Palace, all of which authentically reflect the history of the workers' movement in Yangpu, creating a strong sense of history and the passage of time. Vivid and detailed captions around the images enable visitors to gain a comprehensive and intuitive understanding of the history of the workers' movement in Yangpu District.
