Harbin Baiyupao Wetland Park is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and a national wetland park.

Harbin Baiyupao Wetland Park is located 500 meters north of Baiyutun in Juyuan Town, Daowai District, about 25 kilometers from downtown Harbin. Covering an area of 2.4 million square meters, it is the closest and best-preserved original reed wetland to Harbin.

The wetland lies in a low-lying area, formed by rainwater collecting from surrounding sloping farmland. The water body displays typical wetland landforms, with year-round water accumulation. During the wet season, the water depth can reach up to 3 meters. In addition to summer rainfall, the area also has natural springs that do not freeze in winter. The wetland boasts rich plant resources, including reeds, lotus flowers, cattails, and rice paddies, and is home to wild ducks and various bird species. The waters were once abundant with white fish, which gave the wetland its name.

The summer climate here is fresh, cool, and pleasant, making it an ideal environment and destination for people to connect with nature, appreciate its beauty, relax, unwind, and uplift their spirits. The wetland park offers visitors a range of recreational activities such as boating through reed marshes, wild fishing, birdwatching and flower appreciation, farm picking, water camping, and forest lodging. A visit to Baiyupao allows travelers to fully experience the joy of blue skies, clear waters, green reeds, fish and birds swimming together, and sharing the delight of nature.

The wetland park is home to 20 species of mammals across 9 families and 4 orders, 5 species of reptiles and amphibians across 3 families and 2 orders, 28 species of fish across 8 families and 4 orders, and as many as 122 species of birds across 35 families and 15 orders. Among the bird species, wild ducks are the most numerous, with thousands present, along with significant numbers of mallards, common pochards, pintail snipes, river terns, skylarks, red-rumped swallows, and northern lapwings.
