When you ascend to the summit of Jinshan, you’ll be greeted by a panoramic view of the area — surrounded by mountains on all sides and water on three, harmoniously echoing with Golden Elephant Mountain to the east, Golden Turtle Mountain to the north, and Fulu South Mountain. The town of Jinshan, embraced by two water systems, resembles a lucky golden fish, and when the two waterways connect, they look like a dancing golden dragon. Therefore, the core themes of the Jinshan Scenic Area are climbing Jinshan, watching the dragon dance, witnessing the sunrise, and drinking from mountain springs.

A thousand years ago, ancestors of the Jurchen people hunted and waged battles in this region, adding to the endless imagination inspired by this “Golden Mountain.” While preserving the area’s original natural landscape, the Jinshan Scenic Area has built eco-friendly cement and steel hiking trails, viewing platforms, scenic pavilions, and a bridge spanning the Tangwang River.
