Savory fried chicken is truly irresistible!\N\NEspecially when the night gets quiet, the craving hits even harder… The unique aroma and texture make it impossible to stop once you start XD\N\NRecently, Hu-Li enjoyed some fried delights along Chongde Road in Zuoying District — everything was so fresh, and she wanted to grab it all!\N\nThe selection at Hao Shi Fu’s savory fried chicken is quite extensive, and hygiene is a top priority — the counter is super clean~~

The Chongde branch has seating upstairs — a hidden spot known only to regulars, hehe!\N\NPlanning a date here? Head up to the second floor.\N\NIf you're after marinated meats, you’ll need to visit the Zhong’ai Road branch — we’ll introduce that later. Interested? Check it out^^

▲ Ingredients are displayed very neatly, looking hygienic and varied — you can find almost anything you’re craving here :)

▲ The dining space on the second floor of the Chongde branch is really comfortable, though seating isn’t abundant, so those planning a date or fried food feast should move fast XD

▲ Hu-Li’s beloved squid crisps — they sell out quickly, so the kitchen just fried up another batch.

▲ These yam skewers |渴窍炭谖叮??They have a unique flavor — we specially picked some to try~~~

▲ Hao Shi Fu offers a huge variety, even plenty of veggie options!

▲ Just pick your favorite greens and place them in your own bowl using the tongs.

▲ Hao Shi Fu separates different items to maintain the texture and freshness of each fried snack.

▲ The shop has an oil extractor — freshly fried items go straight in to quickly spin off excess grease, ensuring your savory chicken won’t leave your mouth feeling greasy!

▲ Here’s what Hu-Li picked — the portion looked manageable, but once fried and served, there was way too much to finish~~~ (wiping brow)

▲ That whole set was for the two of us..... haha!\N\NWe ate upstairs at Hao Shi Fu, and the staff kindly plated the fried items separately, with garnishes like basil and pickled mustard greens served on the side.\N\NFor extra flavor, there are also garlic slices^^ Mix and match toppings however you like~~

▲ This huge bowl shocked Hu-Li!\N\NDid we overestimate how much we grabbed earlier? We even packed leftovers to bring to little Hu-Mei XD

▲ Hao Shi Fu even serves salted pork — this totally won Sarah’s heart!\N\nThe perfectly fatty yet lean slices become even more chewy after frying, with just the right level of doneness — not dry at all, and the saltiness hits the spot for us flavor lovers!\N\NNot quite enough to need plain rice with it (%?j%冤

▲ Fried chicken skin is a favorite among foodies!\N\NEveryone pretty much orders it at Hao Shi Fu — it’s fried until super crispy, with much less grease, and has a satisfying crunch like crackers.\N\NPerfect as a snack or drinking accompaniment~~~

▲ Fried preserved eggs~~ Hao Shi Fu has these too!\N\NSarah, a preserved egg enthusiast, didn’t even ask Hu-Mei and just tossed one in her bowl.\N\NFrying mellows their unique aroma, and the outer layer gets slightly chewy — overall, it’s great for those who want preserved eggs without the intense eggy smell XD

▲ Fried egg tofu is pretty rare — its golden exterior is super eye-catching, with a thin, crispy skin giving way to tender egg tofu inside… We love this texture!\N\NBut be careful, it’s hot!\N\N(Hu-Mei the newbie burned her mouth by eating too fast!)

▲ Ever tried Taiwanese Tianbula?\N\NSarah, who grew up in Taichung, misses it so much~~ It’s bouncier and more chewy!\N\nThe more you chew, the more flavorful it gets… It’s addictive and filling, so go easy or try other items first.

▲ Don’t miss the diced squid crisps after frying!\N\NYou can tell Hao Shi Fu’s are super fresh, with a great bite and sweet umami.\N\NThey’re easy to chew — nothing like chewing gum ("V_"V)''

▲ After rounds of meat and fried bits, some fresh veggies are essential.\N\NOriginally worried the fried greens might be oily or dry== But they still had a juicy feel!\N\NHu-Li was quite satisfied with the crispness~

▲ Hao Shi Fu’s fried items are delicious on their own, but can also be enjoyed with toppings

▲ Add their signature stir-fried pickled mustard greens and fresh garlic slices… even more flavor!\N\NBut the toppings are better suited for those who like strong flavors — go light if you prefer freshness ^^

▲ After all the savory fried treats, finish with a little dessert ('*ω'*)\N\NSweet potato sprinkled with plum powder is slightly salty-sweet, and actually whets the appetite.\N\NHao Shi Fu’s sweet potatoes are nice and sweet, full of rich flavor~ Highly recommended!

▲ Buy fried items totaling just 250 TWD here, and you get a free soda… so thoughtful!

▲ Hao Shi Fu Chongde branch — ingredients are super fresh, and the environment is very hygienic!\N\NThis location focuses solely on fried foods~~ If you want their special marinated meats, head to the Zhong’ai Road branch XD

▲ Hao Shi Fu’s marinated meats include items that are fried before marinating!\N\NHu-Li was curious and tried a piece of triangle bone chicken, expecting it to be soft…\N\NBut the texture was actually firm and chewy!\N\NAnd it was pretty tasty~~

▲Stir the marinated delicacies into our uniquely blended sauce—every bite is bursting with flavor! Chef Hao even serves up QQ-style pig skin, loved by girls for its chewy texture. Packed with collagen, it’s a must-try!

▲Spice lovers, don’t forget to add our chili sauce! It’s homemade by the shop, delivering a numbing, peppery aroma ^^ The heat hits just right on the tongue without being overpowering.

▲The Chong’ai branch now offers marinated delicacies too, giving you even more choices! Chef Hao’s salted crispy chicken uses only carefully selected ingredients and places great emphasis on hygiene. Despite being fried, you can still taste the authentic flavors of the dish~~ These Taiwan-style snacks are not greasy at all, leaving us craving more XD
