Wansongyan Scenic Area is located 58 kilometers from the Langxiang Bureau. Covering an area of over 100 hectares, the scenic area mainly features the viewing of strange pines and unusual rocks, as well as recreational activities at Songyan Lake. Here, the mountains are majestic, the forests lush, and the rocks uniquely shaped. The vibrant mountain flowers, along with peculiar stones, rare trees, cliffs, steep precipices, wild blossoms, weeds, various fruits, and streams...

The river valley here has a distinctive form, with the riverbanks and riverbed covered in stones of all sizes and shapes—some as small as gravel, others as large as boats or houses. Some rectangular stones bear clear patterns on their surfaces, resembling unreadable ancient texts, while others resemble sea lions floating on the water, adding to the splendor of the 0 River Valley. Leaving the river valley and climbing up the hillside along a path paved with river pebbles of varying sizes, you ascend several stone steps to find a bluish-gray rock standing tall under the blue sky and amidst the green pines. The rugged strength of the pine and the solemn darkness of the rock come together to form a naturally formed welcome stone, showcasing the unique charm of pristine ecology.

Several massive rocks rooted in the mountain support a curved-top boulder. A seemingly ordinary yet extraordinary stone gazes out over this red pine primeval forest, as if pondering something. Yuanbao Stone, Palm Stone, Stone Great Wall… you name it. Every rock and stone forest has countless stories to tell. After hiking and admiring the stone forest, head to the man-made lake by the mountainside to go boating, swimming, and enjoy a more elegant, poetic atmosphere that lingers in memory.

Songyan Lake is formed by intercepting mountain spring water. Covering an area of 1.2 hectares, the lake is fed by flowing water. The water is crystal clear. You can drift freely in a light boat on the lake surface, quietly admire the mountain scenery, fish by the water, let your imagination wander, or row swiftly across the lake—fully indulging in the gifts of nature. Songyan Mountain spans over 100 hectares, with lush and uniquely shaped woods. Some trees look like slender maidens, others like mighty warriors; some tower into the clouds, while others stand straight on cliffs. Among the dense foliage, various rugged and striking rocks are exposed, such as Jade Finger Rock, Buddha’s Hand Rock, Camel Rock, and Eagle Rock.
