Jinmao Mountain Forest Park
The provincial-level Jinmao Mountain Forest Park is located within the management areas of Hengtou Mountain Forest Farm and Laopinggang Forest Farm in Huachuan County, just 25 kilometers from Jiamusi City, covering an operating area of 3,323 hectares. Within the park, visitors can enjoy: the rare sight in Heilongjiang Province of a “ten-thousand-mu plantation of Korean pine trees”; Weiding Mountain, the highest peak in the suburbs of Jiamusi, standing at an elevation of 546 meters; a 3,000-hectare blueberry plantation base; as well as the winding water landscape of the Songhua River. There are 502 species of higher plants and 281 species of wild animals thriving in the area.
