A new "Xing'an Lake Resort" has been developed in the forested hills on the southern slopes of the Greater Khingan Range, on the outskirts of Jiagedaqi. The resort features distinctive northern forest-style woodland villas, with wooden houses of varying designs scattered across the landscape. Wooden boardwalks wind through lush flower-lined paths, and a multifunctional training center building has been completed and put into use. The area includes a 50-hectare artificial lake that gathers unpolluted natural spring water, producing nearly 50,000 kilograms of cold-water fish annually. Ancient-style corridors stretching for several kilometers and several pavilions span the shimmering lake surface. Below the bridges, a variety of boats — including biomimetic vessels, themed boats, bumper boats, and water-play boats — cruise the waters. In winter, the lake becomes an ice-skating rink. A 1,010-square-meter swimming pool is also planned. Surrounded by rolling mountains and dense forests, the resort covers an operating area of over 2,500 hectares. In recent years, it will be developed to include sports fields, horse racing tracks, shooting ranges, hunting grounds, ski slopes, and a children’s playground. Currently, the resort welcomes up to 1,000 visitors daily. Guests can stroll through the woods, enjoy forest bathing, play chess in the villas, fish by the lake, or set up pots to stew fresh fish...
