The world’s deepest cave, “Krubera Cave” (also known as KruberaCave), also referred to as Voronya Cave, is situated in the Arabika Massif of the Gagra District in Abkhazia, Georgia. It was first discovered in 1960, and since then researchers have continuously explored its depths. By 2012, the explored depth had reached 2,197 meters, making it the deepest known cave and the only one exceeding 2,000 meters in depth.
