The Panasonic hair dryer, which previously went viral after being endorsed by singer Jiawei Jiang on her social media, is set to launch its new “nanocare EH-NA97” model on August 21. It not only dries hair more quickly but also emphasizes reducing damage caused by friction, helping keep your hair healthier. The retail price at stores is expected to be around 21,000 Japanese yen (tax excluded)!

The “Nanocare” series of hair dryers, exclusively developed by Panasonic, features “Nanoe” micro ions that envelop moisture and a mineral negative ion generator. These help the hair retain moisture and reduce damage from friction during styling. The newly released “nanocare EH-NA97” retains all these functions and adds a new “nanoe” ion replenishment PLUS feature. Through automatic voltage cycling, it helps the hair better retain negative charges, allowing the ‘Nanocare’ nanoe ions and minerals to adhere more easily to the hair. This results in hair that’s easier to manage and feels even softer to the touch.

Additionally, besides the new nanocare EH-NA97 going on sale on August 21, two more internationally compatible hair dryers—the more basic “EH-NA57” and the portable “EH-NA27”—will also be launched at the same time. The estimated retail prices are around 16,000 Japanese yen and 13,000 Japanese yen respectively (both tax excluded). Though these two models lack the “nanoe” ion replenishment PLUS and the “hot/cold alternating mode” features, they produce a higher volume of nanoe ions than previous models, further enhancing the moisturizing effect on hair. Travelers planning a trip to Japan soon should definitely grab these deals while they’re hot.
