Due to the opening of the Panjin-Yingkou high-speed railway operated by Shenyang Railway Bureau, starting September 12, Beijing Railway Station has adjusted its train schedule by adding three new high-speed train pairs to Dalian North and one new pair to Shenyang North. With the launch of the Panying High-Speed Railway, trips from Beijing to Dalian will no longer need to detour through Shenyang, shortening the journey by approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Starting September 12, Beijing Railway Station will add three new high-speed train services to Dalian North: D37/8, D41/2, and D45/6. Together with the existing D33/4, there will be a total of four high-speed trains to Dalian (with D33/4 terminating at Dalian Station). One train will depart at 7:37 a.m. and another at 9:52 a.m., while two more will leave at 2:52 p.m. and 3:51 p.m. respectively.
Thanks to the opening of the Panying High-Speed Railway, travel time from Beijing to Dalian has been significantly shortened. For example, before the adjustment, Train D33 took 7 hours and 43 minutes for the entire journey; after September 12, the duration is reduced to 6 hours and 10 minutes, a cut of 1 hour and 33 minutes. The other three high-speed trains have journey times ranging from 6 hours and 16 minutes to 6 hours and 26 minutes.
Additionally, starting September 12, Beijing Railway Station will add one new high-speed train service, D51/2, via the Panying High-Speed Railway to Shenyang North. It departs Beijing at 17:13 and arrives in Shenyang North at 23:13, taking 6 hours. After rerouting via the Panying High-Speed Railway, Train D33/4 will no longer stop at Liaoyang or Anshan West Station. Passengers from these two cities traveling to Beijing by high-speed train can instead take Train D51/2, which passes through Anshan West Station and Liaoyang Station en route to Shenyang North. The shorter route reduces both travel time and ticket prices for passengers from these areas.
The Beijing-Jiagedaqi Train 1467/8 will also be upgraded from a regular train to an express train on September 12, with its number changed to K497/8. The travel time will be shortened from the original 27 hours and 5 minutes to 25 hours and 8 minutes — a reduction of nearly 2 hours. Meanwhile, the Beijing-Hengshui Train 6439/40 will be discontinued as part of this train schedule adjustment.
Due to the opening of the Panying High-Speed Railway, 13 arriving trains and 5 departing trains at Beijing Railway Station will experience changes in their schedules. Passengers are advised to pay attention to announcements at the station.
