According to the UK's Daily Mail on September 3, "pedaling" a bicycle has always required foot power, but a 43-year-old German man named Kreis has recently developed the world's first bicycle that allows both hand and foot pedaling, the "Baribike." This bike not only travels faster than an ordinary bicycle, but also allows users to exercise their upper body. Each unit is priced as high as 4,000 pounds (approximately 36,000 yuan).

According to reports, the "Baribike" weighs about 15 kilograms and comes in white, black, and gold options, with an appearance no different from an ordinary bicycle. In addition to rotating "pedals" that allow users to "pedal" the bike with their hands, it also has traditional handlebars.

Kreis believes that the "Baribike" allows for simultaneous upper body exercise. Research by New Mexico State University found that when users rotate the wheels using both hands and feet, they can generate 31% more kinetic energy at the same heart rate compared to traditional cycling methods, meaning it can save effort when climbing hills.
