The Site of the Former 48-Stone Party Branch is a classic red tourism attraction.

The Site of the Former 48-Stone Party Branch is located in 48-Stone Village, Hongmei Town, Meihekou City, covering an area of approximately 300 square meters. It currently serves as the office of the 48-Stone Village Party Branch.

In the early 1930s, a large number of Korean communists were active in Hailong County (now Meihekou City). In accordance with a decision by the Comintern, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China issued directives to implement a one-country system. On June 29, 1930, after the entire Northeast region came under the leadership of the Manchuria Provincial Committee of the CPC, the Manchuria Provincial Committee issued the “Directive on the Issue of Korean Comrades in Manchuria Joining the Communist Party of China.” Following this, the Manchuria Provincial Committee dispatched inspectors to Nanshanchengzi in Qingyuan County to hold a training session for Korean communists wishing to join the CPC. After the training, Li Yinshi, Li Jifeng, and Shen Changshan stood out and were admitted as members of the CPC. These were the first group of communists developed within the territory of Meihekou. In July of the same year, after undergoing further training, Li Yinshi, Li Jifeng, and Shen Changshan were assigned by the Party organization to 48-Stone to establish the first Party branch in Meihekou—the 48-Stone Party Branch—under the leadership of the Qingyuan County Committee. Subsequently, the Shancheng Town Party Branch was also established. The memorial site is now the office of the 48-Stone Village Committee. On July 1, 2008, the Meihekou Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government installed a memorial plaque at the site.

Due to multiple reconstructions of the original site, no historical relics can be found there. Only a memorial stone plaque erected in 2008 remains.
