Linjiang City’s Jiangxin Island Park is located on the Yalu River in the urban area of Linjiang. On the right side of the riverbank at the park entrance stands a granite slab engraved with the three large characters “Jiangxin Island” (江心岛), personally inscribed by General Yang Chengwu. The island is shaded by lush green trees, boasts beautiful scenery, and offers a pleasant environment, providing residents of the city as well as visitors, business travelers, and those visiting relatives with a highly convenient and easily accessible space for leisure, fitness, and entertainment. The modern urban architecture on Jiangxin Island gives it a unique charm—colorful and vibrant, forming a beautiful scenic sight that captivates and enchants visitors. People can take speedboats here to cross the Sino-Korean border bridge and fully enjoy the views along both the Chinese and North Korean riverbanks. In winter, visitors can ice skate and play in the snow on the frozen surface of the Yalu River, or they can rest in the pavilions on the island, sip tea, and listen to Peking Opera performances by enthusiasts. The park sees a continuous flow of people from morning till night. This small Jiangxin Island Park was even used as an outdoor filming location for several movies in the past, including *Five Golden Flowers* and *Deep in the White Clouds*.
