Celebrate the Opening of the MRT Xinyi Line: Limited-Time Gifts at 3 Major Markets Along the Line

The Taipei City Market Administration stated that to celebrate the opening of the MRT Xinyi Line on November 24, 2013, three markets along the line—the Dongmenwai Temporary Stall Cluster, Jianguo Holiday Jade Market, and Linjiang Street Night Market—will run promotional events. The Dongmenwai Temporary Stall Cluster is a daytime market mainly selling groceries, fresh seafood, meat, and produce. From November 24 to December 21, 50 lottery tickets will be given out every Saturday and Sunday starting at 11:30 AM until supplies last (located next to Dongmen MRT Station).

Taiwan’s largest jade product distribution hub—Jianguo Holiday Jade Market—will offer a limited-time promotion starting at 12:00 PM on November 24. Customers who spend a single transaction of NT$1,000 or more on-site can register at the service desk near the Ren’ai Road entrance to receive one exquisite gift. Limited to 100 gifts only. (Located next to Da’an Forest Park MRT Station). Linjiang Street Night Market, which offers a wide variety of goods including food and general merchandise, will run a promotion from November 24 to December 1. From 5:30 PM to midnight daily, customers who spend a cumulative total of NT$1,000 within the night market area can exchange their receipt or invoice for one Today’s 539 lottery ticket at the lottery shop at No. 72 Linjiang Street. Limited to 100 tickets per day. (Located next to Xinyi Anhe MRT Station).
