To promote night market culture, the “2012 Taipei Night Market Food Festival” series of promotional events officially launches tonight. The first wave of special offers will feature select stalls from major night markets, offering great value deals including: collect stamps on your receipts to exchange for gifts, exclusive kupon discounts, and flash sales by participating vendors. The first wave includes four major night markets: Raohe Street Night Market from May 7 (Mon) to May 13 (Sun), Linjiang Street Night Market from May 14 (Mon) to May 20 (Sun), Huaxi Street Night Market from May 21 (Mon) to May 27 (Sun), and Guangzhou Street Night Market from May 28 (Mon) to June 3 (Sun).

The leading Raohe Street Night Market will run a one-week “Passerby Specials Bonanza” campaign, where multiple vendors offer joint discounts. During the event period, customers can enjoy exclusive deals either by printing discount kupon coupons from the website or presenting the event week DM at designated stalls. Additionally, there’s a “Night Market Thoughtfulness” stamp-collecting gift campaign: visitors who present their stamp map at designated stalls in Raohe Street Night Market can earn a commemorative stamp. From 18:30–20:30 on May 12 (Sat) and May 13 (Sun), those with a stamp map can redeem a NT$50 night market voucher at the Raohe Street Night Market service booth, limited to 101 people per day.

Other upcoming night markets – Linjiang Street, Huaxi Street, and Guangzhou Street – will also host a one-week “Passerby Specials Bonanza” and “Night Market Thoughtfulness” campaigns. Each night market’s event week will include vendor flash sales (on Saturdays and Sundays from 18:30–20:30), featuring limited-time discounted food items from exhibitors such as Taiwan Tobacco Biotech, Jinrui Zhenhang, and Lingxian Gourmet. Starting June 4 (Mon), the second wave of activities will continue with Liaoning Street, Yansan, Dalong Street, and Ningxia Eco Night Markets.
