Explore night markets—Taipei night market promotions kick off tonight on Raohe Street

To promote night market culture, the “2012 Taipei Night Market Feast” series of promotional events officially launches tonight. The first wave of discounts and perks will combine designated stalls from major night markets to offer unbeatable deals, including: collecting stamps for rewards, exclusive kocupon offers, as well as limited-time flash sales by participating vendors. The first wave features four major night markets kicking off first: Raohe Street Night Market from May 7 (Mon) to May 13 (Sun), Linjiang Street Night Market from May 14 (Mon) to May 20 (Sun), Huaxi Street Night Market from May 21 (Mon) to May 27 (Sun), and Guangzhou Street Night Market from May 28 (Mon) to June 3 (Sun).

The promotion’s opening act, Raohe Street Night Market, will hold a week-long “Roadside Discount Bonanza.” Multiple vendors have teamed up to offer special deals—during the campaign period, simply download exclusive kocoupons via the website or present the event week’s DM at designated stalls to enjoy special offers. Additionally, the event week features the “Night Market Thoughtfulness” stamp-collecting rewards campaign: visitors who present a stamp map at designated Raohe Street Night Market stalls can earn a commemorative stamp. From 6:30–8:30 PM on May 12 (Sat) and May 13 (Sun), those with a stamp map can redeem a NT$50 night market voucher at the Raohe Street Night Market service center, limited to 101 per day.

Other upcoming night markets—Linjiang Street, Huaxi Street, and Guangzhou Street—will also host a week-long “Roadside Discount Bonanza” and “Night Market Thoughtfulness” campaigns. Each night market’s event week (Saturday and Sunday evenings, 6:30–8:30 PM) will feature “limited-time flash sales” by participating vendors such as Taiwan Tobacco Biotech, Jinrui Zhenhang, and Lingxian Cuisine, offering six food items at special prices. Starting June 4 (Mon), the second wave of activities will continue with Liaoning Street, Yansan, Dalong Street, and Ningxia Eco Night Markets.
