Huashan National Forest Park is a national-level forest park.

Huashan National Forest Park is located in Linjiang City, Baishan, Jilin Province. It covers a total area of 18,000 hectares, with forested land spanning 13,500 hectares and a forest coverage rate of 75%.

Huashan National Forest Park was formerly known as the Linjiang Huashan Town Hot Spring Resort in the Changbai Mountains, situated deep within the heart of the Changbai Mountain range. The area features a natural mineral spring, which was personally visited by renowned Chinese nutritionist Yu Ruo Mu, who inscribed it as “the No. 1 Spring at the Foot of the Changbai Mountains.” A natural mineral water plant has been established here and is now in production.

The main scenic areas of Huashan National Forest Park include: Linjiang City’s Riverside Island, Wolong Mountain, Maor Mountain, Beishan Park, the Hot Spring Resort, the Valley Ecological Park, the Pearl Gate Forest Scenic Area extending 15 kilometers north into the deep forest, the Dragon Claw Mountain Great Lake Scenic Area stretching 10 kilometers eastward, the Yalu River—the border river between China and North Korea—as well as the former residence of Puyi, the last emperor of Manchukuo, located 10 kilometers west, where he fled during his escape.

The park boasts a harmonious blend of superior natural landscapes and rich cultural and historical sites, offering diverse scenery with well-distributed attractions. The ecological environment within the park is outstanding. In spring, trees burst into green; in summer, vast verdant landscapes unfold; in autumn, a riot of colors flourishes; and in winter, everything is blanketed in silvery white.
