The Baoshan-Liudaogou Copper Smelting Site is a National Key Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

The Baoshan-Liudaogou Copper Smelting Site is located in the towns of Baoshan and Liudaogou, approximately 70 kilometers southeast of Linjiang City, Jilin Province. It dates back to the Tang and Five Dynasties periods.

The site covers an area of about 20 square kilometers and includes ancient mine shafts, smelting sites, and residential remains. To date, eight ancient mine shafts have been discovered, with the longest extending over 800 meters, and there are 52 ancient slag heaps. One residential site, four smelting pits, three wells, house foundations, and three ash pits have been excavated, yielding artifacts such as ironware and pottery. The pottery includes jars, pots, and bowls, which exhibit distinct characteristics of Jurchen craftsmanship.

The Baoshan-Liudaogou Copper Smelting Site is the only known smelting site from the Bohai Kingdom period discovered in Northeast Asia. With its large area and diverse range of relics, the site holds significant importance for studying the level of productive forces during the Bohai era and its relationship with contemporary remains in Northeast Asia.
