Located in Dalizi Town, Linjiang City. Dating back to 1945, on February 26, 1999, it was designated as a cultural relic protection unit by the People’s Government of Jilin Province. On August 15, 1945, Japan announced unconditional surrender. On August 17, Puyi, the “emperor” of the fleeing puppet state of Manchukuo, proclaimed his “abdication” and held an abdication ceremony here. The site was originally the cafeteria of the Japanese Dacizi Mine Co., Ltd., a 50-meter-long, nine-room brick-and-tile bungalow. It has now been fully restored.
