The Nanda Wang Site is located on Nanda Wang Mountain in the orchard of Wangjia Village, Gongnong Township, Longshan District. The site covers a relatively large area, with abundant surface artifacts scattered across it. The main collected relics include polished stone axes, pottery beanpot handles with “┴”-shaped patterns of piercing and openwork designs, plate ears with pressed patterns, pierced dot-patterned decorative lugs, pottery rims, and bases. Based on the characteristics of the various collected relics, this is considered a fairly typical Bronze Age cultural site in the Liaoyuan area.

Gongnong Township: Established in 1971, Gongnong Township is located on the southern edge of Liaoyuan’s urban fringe and falls within an urban-rural fringe zone. It governs 12 administrative villages, 68 production teams, and has a population of 31,000. The township spans an area of 78.2 square kilometers, with 2,339 hectares of arable land.

During the Tenth Five-Year Plan period, Gongnong Township established an economic development framework model of “focusing on the main body, expanding both wings, and leading others,” continuously cultivating fast-growing sources of income.
