Guanyin Pavilion on Gaoshan Mountain is a cultural relic protection unit of Liaoning Province.

The "Guanyin Pavilion" in Fushun is located on the mountaintop of Gaoshan Mountain Forest Park on the north bank of the Hun River in the urban area. It features the ruins of the ancient Gaoshan Mountain fortress, which was built in the first year of the Xiankang era during the Eastern Jin Dynasty. The ancient octagonal nine-story dense-eave pagoda was constructed during the Liao Dynasty, while the ancient temple "Guanyin Pavilion" in front of the pagoda was built in the mid-Ming Dynasty. Pavilions, halls, corridors, and the temple are nestled among lush pines and cypresses, creating a particularly beautiful scene.

The ancient Gaoshan Pagoda is a witness to history. Built in 1088 AD, this pagoda has withstood nearly a thousand years of wind and rain yet remains majestically upright, standing out uniquely. It is the oldest existing ancient pagoda in the Fushun area, standing 14.10 meters tall with a diameter of 6.8 meters. The entire pagoda is octagonal in shape, featuring an eight-sided nine-story dense-eave structure. The pagoda’s design is simple yet classic, with a rigorous layout that fully showcases the ingenuity and exceptional craftsmanship of ancient Chinese artisans. Not far from the pagoda, halfway up the mountain, lies an ancient temple called "Guanyin Pavilion." This temple stretches across the mountainside, forming a picturesque scene with the pagoda atop the ridge.
