Tianmen Mountain Ancient Village is under the jurisdiction of Dashidian Town, Beizhen City. It is located in the northern part of Beizhen City, on the northern range of the Yiwulu Mountain, adjacent to Yixian County, and is 30 kilometers away from downtown Beizhen. The village consists of six natural settlements: Huashan, Longwan, Laowogou, Silengdi, Pingfang, and Liutiaogou. It has a total of 199 households and 577 residents, covering an area of 21.5 square kilometers.

The roads in Tianmen Mountain Ancient Village have achieved 100% hardening, with well-maintained greenery along the streets, providing a solid foundation for tourism development. The quality of housing construction in the village is relatively good, featuring a sizable cluster of traditional buildings typical of western Liaoning. It has been officially designated as a “China Traditional Village,” showcasing significant development potential. Future development should focus on protective conservation. The natural resources of Tianmen Mountain Ancient Village mainly consist of mountains, forests, and water bodies. All major village roads have been hardened, and wireless internet, radio and television services, as well as three-phase agricultural electricity, are available throughout all residential areas. The village has a total forested area of 26,223 mu, nearly 1,600 mu of orchards, and 288 mu of arable land, with a forest coverage rate of approximately 93%. The main agricultural activities revolve around fruit tree cultivation, including apricots, jujubes, pears, and grapes. Currently, there are about 500 Xiemajujube trees planted. The industrial structure is predominantly based on the primary sector, with limited integration of secondary and tertiary industries. There is no large-scale, refined agricultural processing industry yet, and agricultural tourism remains in its early stages, continuously evolving and improving.

Tianmen Mountain Ancient Village boasts picturesque scenery and vast forested areas, with a natural environment that is like a painting. Tianxian Lake covers an area of 300 mu and has a water storage capacity of 2.9 million cubic meters. Together with 12 naturally formed scenic spots within the village, they create a breathtakingly beautiful landscape. These 12 traditional sites formed by natural rock formations include: Immortal Gate Standing Guard, General Kneeling Before Mother, Plow Bowl That Holds No Water, Plowshare That Tills No Field, Everflowing Spring, Chimney That Emits No Smoke, Lu Zu Temple Facing North, Big Peach Tree in the True South, Tiger Cave on the Hillside, Grassland at the Mountain Top, Guanyin Emerging from the Stone Gully, and Immortals Dwelling in the Stone Shelter. To facilitate visitors’ enjoyment of the stunning natural scenery of Huashan Scenic Area, an 8,000-square-meter parking lot was built near Tianxian Lake in 2019, capable of accommodating approximately 400 vehicles.

Tianmen Mountain Ancient Village not only features beautiful scenery and superior natural conditions but also boasts a long history and profound cultural heritage. It has been listed as a national protected traditional ancient village. The village contains 203 ancient building homestays, including five from the Qing Dynasty and 169 from the Republican era. Tianmen Mountain Ancient Village is a classic, traditional settlement rich in cultural depth and diverse tourism resources, offering broad prospects for development.
