The pink petal snowscape is simply magical—these photos were definitely taken in Taiwan. The riverside of Beidou Riverside Park in Changhua’s Beidou Township is lined with romantic beauty trees. When autumn arrives, the pink blooms appear, and from October to November, the riverbanks are covered in a shower of petals. The scene is incredibly romantic—it almost feels like you’ve been transported to Japan during cherry blossom season. This free attraction is absolutely worth a visit.

The “Rural Cactus Garden” on Tianwei Township’s highway is planted with a wide variety of cacti species, with the largest ones even growing taller than people. 4. Lagerstroemia Avenue

The Taiwanese Lagerstroemia, also known as the Four-Season Tree, displays different charms as its colors change with the seasons. Along the Dongluo Stream in Changhua County, there is a 1.5-kilometer-long stretch of Taiwanese Lagerstroemia trees. In summer, it serves as a natural cooling tunnel. When autumn arrives and the trees bloom, the green leaves turn yellow. Early autumn transforms it into a golden-yellow tunnel, and by late autumn, it becomes a fiery red tunnel. Those wishing to witness this desolate beauty should seize the last opportunity.

5. Clam Barracks

Recently, IG has seen a trend of visiting abandoned sites for photo ops, bringing many old houses, military dependents' villages, and historic ruins back into the spotlight. The Clam Barracks in Xianxi Township, Changhua, with nearly 50 years of history, are remnants of barracks used by stationed troops. The abandoned buildings and weathered red bricks and tiles have unexpectedly become a popular new spot for young people to take photos. However, as there is little shade nearby, visiting in summer can be very hot. The cool and crisp autumn season is actually more suitable for taking pleasant photos, and the autumn breeze adds to the desolate feeling of time standing still.
