China Airlines Launches "Hole-in-One" Desserts to Welcome LPGA Championship Stars

China Airlines is sponsoring the “2015 Fubon LPGA Taiwan Championship,” with golf stars from around the world flying in on China Airlines flights. From October 12 to 25, the airline will serve specially made handmade “71% Magic Manor Chocolate” in business class and premium business class on selected routes, inviting passengers to join in the celebration. Meanwhile, China Airlines’ Taipei Taoyuan Airport VIP lounge will also offer “Lucky Citrus Hole-in-One Cupcakes” and “Chocolate Power Pops” to cheer on the players.

Inspired by golf, the desserts for this tournament were specially created by Chef Chen Rencheng of China Pacific Catering. They are available for players to enjoy and also for passengers traveling on selected China Airlines routes such as Shanghai, Guangzhou, Bangkok, Singapore, Seoul Incheon, Ryukyu, and Hawaii. The in-flight special dessert “71% Magic Manor Chocolate” is handmade locally at Magic Manor Chocolate in Miaoli.

Additionally, the airport VIP lounge offers “Lucky Citrus Hole-in-One Cupcakes” and “Chocolate Power Pops,” both designed by Chef Chen Rencheng. The cupcakes feature traditional sponge cake topped with Italian wine-soaked citrus and decorated with a putting green motif. Meanwhile, three different fillings (strawberry, mango, and green tea) of chocolate are skewered on sticks and served like popsicles, adding a fun twist to chocolate enjoyment.
